Petro-SIM in 64-bit

Petro-SIM 5 is probably the first commercial process simulator to be available in 64-bit, allowing the program to take full advantage of the capabilities of the Windows 64-bit platform and free users from memory constraints that limit simulation size on traditional 32-bit Windows. Available as a separate install, Petro-SIM 5-64 can sit alongside the 32-bit version on your machine and requires no extra licensing. The program will install on the 64-bit editions of Windows 7, Windows 8 and the various server editions of Windows.

All normal calculations and interfaces work with Petro-SIM 64-bit but there are a few caveats concerning extensions. We hope to resolve most of these by the full public release of Petro-SIM 5. One important restriction though is that Petro-SIM in 32-bit or 64-bit form will not work completely with Microsoft Excel in its 64-bit form and we continue to recommend the 32-bit edition of Office.

Petro-SIM Explorer

Petro-SIM 5 revamps the Database Explorer tool provided with Petro-SIM as the first stage in a broader open platform strategy. This is coupled with enhanced support for programmability against the Microsoft .Net platform and a more open SDK.
