Petro-SIM 7.0 Changes to Tools
Excel Application and Reporting Workbooks

New Reporting Workbook with Predict Input Sheet!
Common changes
- Charting system enhanced for new workbooks, offering greater flexibility
- New Chart Manager making chart administration easier
- Support for multiple chart pages
- More flexible chart configuration, allowing multiple lines per chart
- Basecase can be tied to a database case
Application Workbooks
- Optimizer configuration in can now be edited from within Excel
- Scenario Manager available
Reporting Workbooks
- Now include a Predict Input sheet that collates input variables from the Main and each sub-flowsheet
Excel Datasheet General
New datasheet generation in Excel for any object in a Petro-SIM case

Configurable Equipment Datasheets
- One Excel worksheet per object or object type
- Content built from template you create and format as needed
New heat and material balance report generation using your own templates

New Configurable Heat and Material Balance Tables
- Functionality accessed from Send To in object inspect menus in PFD
- Working on a starting template library for the full release version
Multi Data Set Analysis
- The Data Set Analysis utility is a new utility that allows you to compare measurement values to calculated results across a wide number of data sets
- Supports any number of data sets that can be imported from monitoring cases in a Petro-SIM database, from Historian, from Excel application workbooks or set up manually
- Gives you options to configure trend and parity plots to let you compare visually
- Includes configurable analysis statistics you can use to compare results quantitatively
- It can be used independently or run as part of the Calibration application where it will treat data sets as cross-predict cases
- Allows you to run these cross-predicts as part of calibration, letting you establish how well a new calibration or tuning performs versus measurements
LP Utility

Expanded LPU Functionality!
- You can now generate multiple base delta tables per LP Utility
- Previously support one set of delta coefficients with multiple base points
- Now support a different set of delta coefficients per base
- You can visualise the linearised model results and interactively apply bias terms to variables
- Biases can be included within exported coefficients or included as a separate column
- LP Utility data set calculations can be run in parallel, exploiting multiple cores on your computer
- You can export the Base Delta table as a separate unit operation allowing for simplified modelling and for easier LP model assurance
- Base Delta unit operation takes feed streams and generates product streams for use in the flowsheet
- Product can be a combined effluent or be individual cuts as represented in the LP submodel
- Can be separate unit operation or can be separate mode in full reactor
