Petro-SIM 7.6 improvements to Synthesis
New option to define wax content to assays with Bulk Update without cuts property defined
- If the assay did not contain such property distribution it is suggested to enter the wax bulk content
- The new functionality in Petro-SIM v7.6 allows the use of bulk wax content without creating a cumbersome made-up wax distribution which ultimately confuses the user

New wax content option
New synthesis parameter to provide the option of ignoring the probability interpolation in converting TBP distillation to composition:
- When oil synthesis interpolates within the input distillation range of data to obtain the cumulative vol% of components, and if the cumulative vol% of components is less than 30%, the interpolated values can be calculated with information from a probability algorithm.
- The probability method is still the default set up in Petro-SIM

New option for TPB distillation parameters
Synthesis changes for combined distillation and C6+ composition data
- Modification of the algorithm that generates cut composition from C6+ extended composition and distillation.
- Improvements on the estimation algorithm that allocated isomers.
- Changes to the scaling algorithm used in Naphtha Modification.
New RVP calculation algorithm
- This new algorithm can be applied when the legacy RVP calculation method yields values below measured data.
- This algorithm can be accessed from the View and Edit Selected Property in the material stream, and it is called Convert RVP(2025)
