RX Suite

External Gas Quench feature in HXX-SIM When an External Gas Quench stream is connected to a bed and its flow rate is calculated by the stream and not by the HXX-SIM reactor (i.e. the bed's quench Calculate option is set to anything other than "Gas Quench Rate" or "No Quenching"), then the External Gas Quench stream's flow rate may not be reflected in HXX-SIM. This issue will be resolved in 7.6SP1.
To work around this issue, please disable the External Gas Quench Option, then on the Quench Data page enter a value of 0.0 into the Gas Quench Rate input of all beds that will be receiving External Gas Quench (the value entered does not actually matter because it will be ignored once External Gas Quench is enabled), then re-enable the External Gas Quench Option and re-connect all External Gas Quench streams to their appropriate beds.
