Important note, before you upgrade

Maximus 7.6 requires Sentinel RMS 10.1. You can upgrade to the new version of the Network License Server directly from the Maximus 7.6 install shield, selecting "Network License Server" or download it directly from the KBC Downloads site

What's new in Maximus 7.6

With Maximus 7.6 we continue with the transition of Maximus from a primarily design tool to a tool that can be used across the project lifecycle, from early stages of design to operations management and field-wide production optimization.

• New or improved functionalities

  • Automatic plotting of IPR curves
  • Ability to superimpose a VFP curve onto IPR curve and thus display Nodal Analysis plot for a well
  • Ability to utilize VLP curves to model the wellbore performance from Bottom Hole to Wellhead
  • Tuning of a complete field to known pressures and flowrates
  • New constraints added to Gas Lift Optimization including: Min. & Max. flowrate, Max. Drawdown, Min, FBHP, Min. & Max. WH velocity
  • Sensitivity studies can turn GLO on or off
  • Added new Model Variable Functions. See Maximus Help System for more details.
  • Direct coupling with the Reservoir Simulator 6X from Ridgeway Kite

  • Maximus engine release in KBC Acuity for deployment of cloud-based production digital twins
  • Re-organized Ribbon bar is now the default view
  • Improvements to the GIS map functionality
  • New workflow for adding gas lift injection points into a tubing
  • Ability to utilize SLB's OLGA-S (2P, 3P & HD) when it's purchased directly from SLB. Users need to request an AOL 3-J1 OLGA-S type license from SLB.
  • Update to Multiflash 7.5
  • Close model option added to File menu
  • Short length unit added for pipe ID, etc.
  • User can specify a range and step size, when adding sensitivity values
  • MP profile button on results changed to Flow Map
