- Integrated Machine Learning Utility. offering a seamless workflow for users to generate ML models from synthetic data from KBC's 1st principles models.
- Expanded choice of optimization algorithms. for improved optimization speed and robustness.
- Improvements to the Sparse Column solver. supporting VLLE and Reactive distillation columns.
- Improvements to the Heat Exchanger Suite. pressure drop and heat transfer calculations for multi-phase systems., support for K-shells, spiral exchangers and helical baffles.
- Consolidated synthesis methods. to assure accurate representation of naphtha components
- Added full integration of Lube Hydrocrackers within HCR-SIM enabling complete Lube processing functionality.
- Introduced Bio-oil handling capabilities in HCR-SIM for enhanced feedstock flexibility.
- Implemented end-of-run calculations for furnaces to improve operational accuracy and planning.
- New Feed characterization method added to FCC to take into account Sulfur and Conradson in addition to the Feed SG and K factor (Default method)
